 Vision

To bring those hurt, lost, abandoned, or forgotten to Christ and into covenant with the Father. Developing them in the presence of God and directing them towards their purpose assigned to them by Christ while educating them in the world’s language; acquainting them with Heaven’s tools and equipment to glorify God’s name in today’s society.

Beliefs

About God

We believe one true, Holy God eternally exists in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the beginning, God demonstrated His power, wisdom, and goodness by creating everything in the world. With his divine power and providence, God continues to sustain His creation, operating within history to fulfill His redemptive purposes.

About the Bible

We believe Scripture (Old and New Testaments) in its entirety originated with God and He revealed it to His chosen authors. Scripture speaks with the authority of God while simultaneously reflecting the backgrounds, styles, and vocabularies of these human authors. We hold that the Scriptures, in their original manuscripts, are infallible and inerrant; they are the unique, full, and final authority on all matters of faith and practice. There are no other writings similarly inspired by God.

About Salvation

We believe that salvation is the work of redemption to the sinner. Created to be in a relationship with God, mankind defied Him by going their independent way, resulting in alienation from Him and the innate inability to please God. This fall took place at the beginning of human history; since then, all people have suffered these consequences and need the saving grace of God. The salvation of humanity is completely a work of God’s free grace; it is not in any way the result of human works or goodness. Each person can receive salvation by repentance and faith. God’s Word assures individuals that He will continue His saving work in them forever.

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ, the eternal second person of the Trinity, was fully united with human nature by a
miraculous conception and virgin birth. He lived in perfect obedience to the Father, for the sins of all people by dying on the cross as their substitutes, and satisfied divine justice, bringing salvation to all who trust in him alone. After his physical death, Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father as the only intercessor between God and humans. He promised to return to earth, personally and visibly, to fulfill history and the eternal plan of God.

About the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit applies Christ’s saving work by enlightening the minds of sinners to their need to be saved. He renews and indwells each believer upon salvation, becoming their source of assurance, strength, wisdom, and gifting for building up the church. The Holy Spirit guides believers in understanding and applying the Bible. Appropriated by faith, His power, and control, He empowers believers to lead a life of Christ-like character and bear fruit for the
Father’s glory.

About the Church

We believe in the priesthood of the believer. This is to say, that all people born of God have equal status before and direct access to their Lord.

We believe that the identity of the Body of Christ on the earth is primarily perceived through the local church. While encouraging the voluntary association of local churches and recognizing the need for consensus on matters of fundamental doctrine and conduct, we strongly believe the local church to be sovereign and autonomous.
We believe that the calling of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher is functional within the Body of Christ until the Lord’s return. These ministries are gifts to the Church to equip the saints for the work of ministry, so that the body of Christ may be edified.

Baptisms

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the decision to be baptized is up to the individual and that he or she must fully understand what it means to be a Christ follower.

5 Fold Ministry

We believe in the 5-fold ministries (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) to equip believers in Christ to do the work of service.

Communion

During Jesus’ last days, He gathered the disciples in a room and asked them to consume bread and wine “in remembrance” of Him. Two thousand years later, we regularly observe the act of consuming bread and grape juice as a community for the same reason -- to remember our Savior, who sacrificed Himself for our sins.

The Four Ds

Deliverance

Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The casting out of demons was presented to us in the New Testament. Jesus, throughout His ministry worked continually casting out demons. The disciples were taught the importance of deliverance with Jesus, After the resurrection of Jesus, in Mark 16:17-18, stated that the casting out of demons would be a signs of those that believed. This continued to be used be the 12 apostles as they established the first church. At GCC, we are dedicated in delivering those who are bound by a sin, demon, curse, sickness, etc. We do not turn anyone away because of the sin they are in, or whatever may have them bound.

No judgement will be bestowed upon them but give them unconditional love and mercy, We will stay with them and support them every step of the process, no matter how long it takes or how many times the process has to be walkthrough again.

Discipleship

Direction

Doctrine

Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is very important to know and understand what we believe and why we believe. A Doctrine gives us the information to go deeper into our believes, it as well helps us stay on track and true to what we believe. The Scriptures is very important into knowing who Jesus is and how to gain access to the word of God. Everything that God does, can always be backed up by the Scriptures, so it is important to know and understand doctrines so that you may not be shaken in your faith but strengthened.

Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Discipleship is very important in the deliverance process. This is the stage that helps you stay delivered and on the path of the Lord. Jesus had many disciples during His early ministry, which is where He hand-picked the 12 apostles. While discipling the 12, He taught them the right mentality, environment, teachings, experience and much more. Jesus was discipling the 12 into their purpose and ministry that would begin when Jesus left to sit at right hand of God. Without  proper discipleship there can not be true faithfulness. Discipleship is a form of submission. GCC  is a multiplier of world changers, where the lost, confused and hurt can be discipled into their purpose with the Lord.

There will be discipleships in many areas such as: worship, doctrine, the prophetic, missionary, teaching, leading, the gifts, ministry, evangelism, etc.  We do not Keep the truth to ourselves but spread it to those willing to be discipled. God is an all-knowing God, which means there is an infinite amount of things to learn. You will not walk a lonely path, but will have mentors guiding and leading and supporting you throughout your walk with God.

‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬, ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Direction is very important in our walk with God. God does not want His people to be lost and not have a sense of direction. Throughout the Bible, God gives His people certain coordinates, or directions in where they need to go in order for His will to come to pass. Even Jesus described Himself as, "The Way and The Truth." If we Want to get to the Father, we must go in the direction of Jesus. Having a sense of direction can as well open ourselves and allow us to enter into our purpose. It can also give you an insight in the season you are in and why you are going though it. GCC is determine to unveil your purpose and guide you the right direction.

To prepare and train you in God's presence in order to have access to your future and purpose. Without a sense of direction, you may find yourself walking in the opposite direction of where God wants you to go or be. You can also have a sense of feeling lost or be unaware of things or confused because you don't have a sense of direction. Which is why it is important to be an environment that gives you access to God's presence and help give you a sense of direction.
